Monisa

My sister Monisa was baptized on August 9, 2008 by Ted Yan and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints by me on August 10, 2008. The confirmation circle consisted of father: Wayne, brother in law: Ted Yan, nephews: Michael Chan, Brian Chan, Josh-(Lisa Chan husband), son in laws: James Chang, Tom Reyes, missionary and bishopric members. I rejoyce in having such an opportunity of service to the church in the confirmation of my sister a member. I joined the church in May 1962 and wanted all my family members to accept the restored gospel ever since. I am happy my parents, brother and sisters are member of the restored church now.

Swedish Hospital

My mother has not been feeling well for the last couple months. On Tuesday July 29, 2008 they scan her head and discovered she had fluid in her head and is pressing on her left brain. At first it was thought to be critical and she was admitted to the hospital that evening. After consultation with the surgeon, it was determined the fluid has been there for sometime and one of the medication she is taken may cause complication to the surgery. The Doctor felt there is no need for emergency surgery and scheduled her for to day August 6, 2008 at 2 pm. The operation lasted 30 minutes and she is now in the recovery room. Thank you for your presence here, we appreciate your love and prayers. May God bless us always.
